Gratitude & Grief

For those of us who grew up with the Thanksgiving holiday in the US, November may seem a natural time of year to remember all that we feel grateful for. During this online event, you are invited to share stories of loved ones who have died, or share how remembering death has evoked gratitude in your life.

Show & Tell Format

Come with a meaningful object to “show and tell.” This could be a photograph or small material item (jewelry, seashell, stuffed animal, coffee mug - anything!) that reminds you of a loved one who has died. Perhaps your object serves as ‘memento mori,’ a reminder that your own death is certain.

Or, come to simply listen, be in community and hear the stories of others.

Everyone will have a few minutes to share, depending on how many people wish to participate.

Donation-based. To join this session, complete the form below prior to November 29.
